RICHARD Fleeshman looks worlds away from his time on Coronation Street as he strips down to gold hotpants in the upcoming comedy Deep Heat.
ITV2 are set to release a brand new comedy show called Deep Heat, which will feature the ex-Corrie actor – and it’s not one you want to miss.
Heartthrob Richard will appear as the brother of the main character, who can be seen completely stripped down to just his tiny wrestling pants in the promotional pictures.
Many fans will be unable to recognise Richard as young Craig who appeared in Coronation Street from 2002 to 2006.
In one of Corrie’s most harrowing storylines, Craig lost his entire family throughout 2005 as his sister killed their father, which his mother took the blame for.
She ended up in prison while his sibling killed herself and he was eventually put in the care of his grandfather.
The new series is set around protagonist Holly, played by Jahannah James from Brotherhood, who has her sights set on becoming a wrestler but faces some challenges along the way.
Corrie actor Richard plays her brother Nick Nitro and Pippa Haywood, known for her role as Lorraine Craddock in BBC’s Bodyguard, plays her mother.
Holly is tasked with taking over Boss Pro, a gang of misfit wrestlers, after her brother steals half their clients.
She is in despair and wishes her mother would let her wrestle to help out the business.
Other cast members include Sex Education’s Alistair Petrie, My Mad Fat Diary’s Sharon Rooney, Little Britain’s Matt Lucas and Cold Feet’s John Thomson.
