Many of their fans said the same thing after seeing the new looks, namely that Daniel looked much younger.

While others were sad to see his curly hair go.

One commented: “Daniel is gonna need to take his id with him 😂.”

Another posted: “Daniel now looks about 15 😂.”

The Gogglebox duo recently returned to screens after Stephen had been forced to isolate with Covid.

And the sight of Daniel’s very orange arms got viewers talking.

Taking to Twitter to discuss if it was fake tan or simply a contrast issue, one person wrote: “What’s with the orange arms on Daniel?? Has he been tangoed?#Gogglebox.”

A second remarked: “What the hell is going on with Daniel’s yellow arms in Gogglebox is it a fake tan failure? #Gogglebox.”

While a third added: “Daniel pet, whatever fake tan you are using, please stop. The neon orange colour makes him look like a metallic Terry’s chocolate orange wrapper. #Gogglebox.”
