A MAN who won a Mercedes-AMG C63 in a competition is devastated after discovering insurers are quoting him as much as £60,000 to cover it.
After the elation of winning the V8 monster, the man is now considering having to sell it.
Lyubomir said: “I bought three tickets for 99p each, and they told me I won my dream car the next day.”
“I was in shock after discovering the C63 was mine.”
However, he is now worried because he can’t afford to pay the car’s insurance.
Several insurance companies have quoted him between £40,000 and £60,000 to insure the Merc over a year.
Unfortunately, the insurance is that expensive because Lyubomir only got his driving licence six months ago.
“I am feeling down because I cannot enjoy the car that I won,” he said.
“It makes no sense to have a car I cannot drive. I will probably have to sell it,” he added.
Lyubomir has dreamed of owning a Mercedes since he was a small child and is still deciding what to do with his car.

“I am unsure what to do; maybe I will have to sell my dream car,” he said.
At the moment, Lyubomir’s dad is having to drive him around in the C63 while he looks on from the passenger seat.
“At least my dad drives me around and he can enjoy it,” he explained.
“But it’s very sad having your dream car parked outside your house and not being able to use it.”
Still, remaining positive he said: “At least every day when I go outside, I smile when I see my car.”
