LOVE Island’s sizzling summer bombshell has returned to his day job just months after starring on the matchmaking series.
Roofer Billy Brown, 23, – who arrived in Casa Amor in June – is back grafting as a builder.
Surrey-based Billy, who knew Love Island finalist Gemma Owen prior to entering the series, has taken to his Instagram page to reveal his next move.
One fan quizzed: “So do you still have your normal job after love Island?” to which he replied: “Yes I do
“I’m a roofer, a builder, in construction – as you can tell I am driving a van.
“And I’m in this,” as he paned the camera to his work trousers.
He then added: “I’m a grafter.”
In his Instagram fan Q and A, Billy also admitted he underwent numerous medical tests in his six-month preparation for Love Island life.
Yet he ultimately declared it was “worth it” – despite not finding lasting love during his Mallorca stint.
After his shock arrival in the villa, Gemma revealed on the show that he was a friend of her best male pal.
The duo were then seen flirting after meeting in Casa Amor – much to the disgust of Gemma’s then-partner Luca.
Luca was furious at what he coined as “flirty” chats after Billy confessed that Gemma had given him mixed signals, saying he was left “confused” by Gemma’s “flirty banter”.
Billy first made a beeline for Paige Thorne, moved onto Tasha Ghouri and then embarked on a romance with Danica Taylor – which ended in explosive fashion.
The roofing company director told Love Island’s spin off show: “Usually I go for brunettes, but Tasha ended up being a bit of me as well.
“We went round a friend route with Paige and then Tasha was giving me a bit of a vibe so we ended up there, which I’m not complaining about.”
Presenter Laura Whitmore then asked the cheeky chappie about his flirty relationship with Gemma.
“The flirting with Gemma caused a little bit of a friction,” the Irish presenter said.
“If Luca had not been there and there wasn’t a strong connection with Gemma and Luca, if Luca wasn’t there do you think there could have been something?”
Billy said: “It’s not about whether he’s there or he’s not, it is what it is.
“For me if someone if giving me a vibe I will bounce off of it, she was giving me a vibe 100 per cent.”
Billy’s appearance came after viewers were convinced he was a “production plant” deliberately sent in to stir things up between Luca and Gemma.
